Director of Finance

Job #5043 – Our client is a well‑established not‑for‑profit home and community care organization in Ottawa that helps individuals live safely and independently at home and in their communities. They are seeking a full‑time, permanent Director of Finance to join their team. Responsibilities

Lead and oversee a small finance team responsible for payroll and accounting functions, while maintaining a hands‑on approach. Manage month‑end close processes, including preparation of financial statements, reporting and performance analytics. Complete various government reporting requirements related to funding and compliance. Develop forecasting models and “what‑if” scenario analyses to support strategic financial planning and decision‑making. Lead year‑end audit preparation and coordination. Support organizational growth strategy through market analysis, competitor research and evaluation of service expansion opportunities. Qualifications
