Director of Finance

This is an In-Person position based in Ottawa (35 hours/week).

The position requires a self-starter with strong leadership qualities, and proven experience delivering complex technology projects. This role requires flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required. This is conducted in person, within the VHA office.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, and as a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Finance plays an integral role in developing and overseeing the organization’s budgets and financial processes, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, leading the annual organizational audit and project audits, investment/asset management, providing strategic advice and direction on all matters related to organizational finances.
