Director of Strategic Customer Engagements, Public Sector, Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP)

Description
As we rapidly grow our business, we are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) to lead a high-profile, high-performing global Public Sector deal team. The SCE Public Sector team works with United States federal, state, and local governments, education, public health, non-profit and non-governmental organizations, and specific technology companies which primarily serve these markets. Internationally, the SCE Public Sector team will engage with similar governmental entities and technology companies in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany.

This is an executive leadership role that requires both leading through leaders and teams alongside managing customer escalations and engaging frequently at executive level both internally across AWS and externally with government bodies.
