Job Purpose
The dispatcher is responsible for the weekly optimization of all assigned trucks regarding:
+ Coordinate freight using the load progression workflow to direct drivers to the appropriate locations according to customer needs.
+ Using excellent communication and problem-solving skills when engaging with drivers or customers to resolve shipping requirements or concerns.
+ Communicating regularly with the terminal manager to ensure terminal flow and profitability.
