Job Summary:
SUNY Upstate Medical University’s mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve through education, biomedical research, and health care. This goes beyond our downtown campus with all of our clinics and offices that provide patient care throughout the greater Syracuse area. As the largest employer and care provider in the area, it means that we receive and deliver a significant amount of medical supplies, build specialty carts and more in support of patient care. With this in mind, we are looking for new Distribution Assistant (Office Assistant/Mail/Stores Clerk 1) to join our Supply Chain Team! This role is vital to ensuring that everyone receives the best care possible. Can you help us? Here’s what you’ll do:
+ Report daily to Distribution and unpack supplies and stock shelves
+ Follow the “recipe” and build/restock specialty carts like code, difficult airway, and more
