Doctoral Researcher position (4 years) in the MSCA COFUND Doctoral Programme for Advancing Forest-Based Bioeconomy (DP-FOBI) at the University of Eastern Finland. Description of the research theme

Research theme: Contested conceptualizations of forest in bioeconomy-related discourses. The project scrutinizes how forest and nature are conceptualized in public bioeconomy discourses, including traditional and social media, works of art, advertisements, policy documents and textbooks, involving governmental and non-governmental organizations, corporations and the general public. It aims to understand how these conceptualizations influence the portrayal of forest-based bioeconomy and to develop tools for interpreting these discussions.
