DPS Resident Engineer

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DPS Resident Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead the Data Protection & Back-Up Systems and Optimization. He/she will also take charge of the end to end process of DPS ensuring the availability integrity and recovery of the data.

Key Responsibilities & Role:

• Monitor and maintain Data Protection & Backup systems
• Perform capacity planning data tiering and Data Protection & Backup optimization tasks.
• Assist in data migration archiving and retention activities.
• Ensure data availability integrity and backup/recovery processes.
• Support incident resolution and escalate complex Data Protection & Backup issues to L3.
