YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Drill and Blast Leader, you will work in close collaboration with your team members in the Engineering Department, as well as members of other departments. You will perform good engineering practices in terms of drill & blast design as well as end of period reporting. Your role also includes QA/QC compliance for all processes linked to the drilling and blasting operation and the general drill and blast procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Create Drill & Blast layouts for the Open pits mostly & potentially the Underground mine;
Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance and quality of execution;
Keep track of all the drilling and blasting performances through data reporting and databases;
