Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands‑on and people‑first Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Rydges Wellington. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day running of the hotel in the absence of senior leadership, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a safe, well‑run environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the hotel on shift in the absence of the General Manager, acting as the key decision maker and hotel ambassador
- Oversee Front Office operations while supporting wider departments to ensure seamless daily performance
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences, including smooth arrivals, departures, VIP and group stays
