Eccentric Press Machine Setter, Blackheath Cape Town

Our client is a major provider of innovative and technologically sophisticated baking, food service and packaging solutions across the African continent and key International Markets. They are looking to appoint a Machine Setter with Eccentric machine experience at their Blackheath (Cape Town) based facility.

Only candidates already in the Western Cape will be considered.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Grade 12 with maths and physical science OR N3 / N4 Mechanical Engineering


• Red Seal trade test certificate in Toolmaking, Fitting & Turning or Machining


• Hands-on experience with Eccentric machines and tooling


• Good understanding of production processes in Marsden


• Able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings


• Good fault finding and problem-solving skills


• Able to work with a tape measure and vernier
