Opportunity Description
**Job Summary**
The ECG Technician provides basic medical care to patients under the supervision of RNs/Physicians. The ECG Technician advocates for patient safety and protocol integrity, adheres to standards, and communicates effectively to ensure effective conduct of clinical trials and quality patient care.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
+ The ECG Technician competently performs routine electrocardiograms and holter application
+ Demonstrates knowledge and ability to care for patient population
+ Obtains good quality ECGs according to the patient’s schedule and protocol guidelines
+ Addresses ECG queries as appropriate
+ Assists RNs with performance of ECG’s
+ Prepares equipment for daily use and maintain cleanliness of ECG equipment
+ Inventories and requests supplies as necessary
+ Other duties as assigned
