Effluent Plant Supervisor

A well‑established food manufacturing company renowned for its superior quality products is seeking an experienced Effluent Plant Supervisor to join their dedicated team, based in the Durban area. This role reports into the SHE Manager.

The purpose of this role is to effective wastewater management for the purpose of water reuse or release with the least harmful effect on the environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, preferably Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
• 2 years’ experience in a technical environment
• 2 years’ experience in an effluent operator or related position
• Knowledge of modern methods, materials and techniques used in the construction, operation, maintenance, extension and repair of water treatment and related facilities, as well as the tools and equipment used to perform these functions.
