Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings before start of work day
- Daily site walk inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Assist with job safety analysis, job instruction training, safe work procedures and method statements
- Conduct safety audits
- Manage the permit to work system and ensure rules and regulations are in accordance with relevant procedures
- Investigate and report all incidents to Safety Officer / Safety Manager and recommend actions to prevent future recurrence
- Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to safety
- Conduct safety training for workers
- Attending to other ad hoc matters assigned by the Safety Officer / Safety Manager
- Minimum NITEC / Professional Certification in any field
- Preferably with some experience in Mechanical Engineering field
