Summary
The eICU Virtual nurse is a pivotal member of the healthcare team to assist with managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The virtual nurse will assist with tasks such completing the admission, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care. The virtual eICU nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance. The eICU Virtual nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients. Job Requirements
