Summary This position is located at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 - Desert Pacific Health Care Network, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Center, in the Engineering Service Line. The work includes performing work as an Electrical Equipment Repairer Lead. Responsibilities Submits recommendations for mediation to existing equipment to improve overall operations. Relays work instructions received from supervisor to unit workers. Initiates work by designating individual workers to begin immediate tasks. Provides on-the-job training as necessary. Establishes and maintains control over work operations. Assures production output for safe, efficient, effective and economical accomplishment. Troubleshoots electrical systems and related equipment. Adjusts plans, assignments, and methods as necessary to accomplish the work, such as: providing technical instructions and guidance when problems arise; hence, plans work to keep all employees on the work crew engaged.
