What you’ll be doing
as the Electrical Technician
Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of yourself, colleagues, contractors, and visitors is always my top priority by always displaying the correct behaviours by complying with the Health and Safety at Work regulations and Thames Water’s Health and Safety guidelines. Undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms and fault-finding to identify issues, fix these or escalate, planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily, installing new plant and equipment as required in line with current Standards and Regulations. Examples of equipment that you will be working on will be motors, gearboxes, screw /chain conveyors & centrifuges, various pumps, and associated control gear, 3-phase motors, starters and controls, electronic control systems such as VSD, automatic valves, flow, level and pressure measurement, programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives and...
