Electrician Leader

Summary This position is located at the VA St. Louis Health Care System (VASTLHCS), a complex, level 1A facility. The position functions as an Electrician Leader within the Electric Shop, Maintenance and Operations, Facilities Engineering Service, accomplishing trades and labor work. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as work leader of multiple employees in accomplishing trades and labor work in support of the Facilities Management Division. Provides advice to workers on how to follow supervisory instructions and meet deadlines. Assists the supervisor with the preparation and ordering of materials to perform maintenance, repair and improvements to systems and structures throughout the medical center (ensuring that needed stock is obtained from supply locations for maintenance tasks).
