Position Overview
Khalsa School Newton is seeking homeroom teachers for Grade 7 all subjects. Khalsa School Newton is a faith based elementary school located at Street in Surrey, BC. Academic teachers do not have to be observers of the faith. Teachers from all diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply! We are an IB MYP authorized school. We are a growing school with a lot of opportunities. Our teachers are supported, have their own classroom and have the opportunity to be a part of an amazing community!
We have 1 opening for the new school year starting September 1, 2026.
Start Date and Salary
Start Date: September 1, 2026. Salary: Starting salary of $6600 (10 months). Only offered to CoQ teachers or teachers who have a completed application with the Teacher Certification Branch for a CoQ. Subject Restricted Teachers are invited to apply. Teaching experience in Canada is recognized for a possible higher starting salary for CoQ teachers.
