Emergency Management Technician

This position is responsible for working in an Air Force Readiness and Emergency Management (EM) Flight supporting a variety of programs associated with delivery of emergency management functions to include base EM operations, training of base personnel, and logistics of EM equipment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assists Section Lead(s) in accomplishing tasks, services, and requirements related to emergency management operations, training and logistics.
+ Responds to and supports recovery from real-world emergencies, incidents and disasters; participates in base exercise program advising commanders of response to scenarios.
+ Performs specialized detection, sampling and mitigation actions of unknown substances as well as contamination control procedures.
+ Delivers CBRN and other specialized training to base personnel, conducts staff assistant visits.
+ Assists logistics section in managing and maintaining CBRN response and other equipment.
