Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for permanent full-time and part-time positions at Cowichan District Hospital. We are a group of enthusiastic ED physicians with CCFP-EM and FRCP certification. Our Emergency Department sees around visits per day. In addition to regular Emergency Department shifts, we also have a Rapid Access and Diagnostic Virtual Unit (RADU), which manages patients meeting strict criteria who are likely to be discharged within 24hrs of admission. The RADU physician also supports the Emergency Department. We have double coverage from 09:00 to 01:00 every day and triple coverage from 11- .
We are looking for someone to work Emergency Department shifts - Day, Afternoon, Early Evening, Late Evening and Overnight, as well as RADU shifts.
