Opportunity Description
SMART is working with a client in Hermiston, OR that is looking for an emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to provide locum coverage at their facility. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be ongoing until a permanent placement is secured.
Details Include:
-BC Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
-Active OR license and DEA is required
-25-bed hospital
-12-hour Physician shifts 7a-7p plus night call
-12-hour APP shifts 7p-7a
-Daily census 15-18
-No intubation or central lines placement required
-Open ICU
-EMR: EPIC
-Level III Trauma Center
-21,500 annual ED visits
-1 APP on with physician during the day. Physician is required to oversee daytime APP and cosign/addend notes
-SMART covers malpractice, travel, and accommodations
