Emergency Medicine Physician

Provides emergency care to patients.

• Clinical responsibilities: ? Provides emergency care to patients. Refers patients to appropriate community medical resources for follow up care. ? Consults with WYH medical staff physicians and APPs providing on-call coverage as appropriate. ? Completes charting in a timely manner, compliant with departmental, WYH, and WSH rules and regulations. ? Works with ED APPs in a timely and collaborative fashion to help supervise care of their patients. ? Works scheduled shifts, including shifts starting and ending at varying times of day. ? Provides medical command and direction to Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support units. Participates in audits of these activities as needed. ?
