DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Emergency Room Technician performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists the professional nursing staff by performing any delegated duties, specialized procedures, and assists with care of seriously ill patients. SUPERVISION: Reports directly to Nurse Manager and/or Charge Nurse
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Licensed Nurse provides physical patient care in a safe manner. Communicates abnormal variances of data (vital signs, pain, etc) to appropriate staff.
