Opportunity Description
**BluePearl Pet Hospital** in **Augusta, GA** is seeking a full-time **Emergency Service Head Veterinarian (ERSH)** who will work alongside our ER Clinicians, Specialists, and Leadership Team to ensure the highest quality medicine and services for pets and our community.
The Emergency Service Head is a clinically practicing manager of the hospital’s ER Clinician team.
As supervisor to ER Clinicians, the role is responsible for all day-to-day matters impacting direct reports including scheduling, hiring, training, mentoring, facilitating regular ER meetings, and representing the ER team as a hospital leader. The incumbent works during a variety of shifts to support the team and collaborates with the Medical Director to ensure the highest level of patient care.
