Emergency Services Clinical Therapist After Hours Per Diem The Providence Center After Hours Emergency Services Clinician PER DIEM provides crisis outpatient services for TPC consumers via the phone after normal working hours. Internal Candidates (qualified Care New England Employees) encouraged to apply. Duties and Responsibilities: Confer with community agencies (police, rescue, other emergency rooms), and private health plans requesting psychiatric consultations as appropriate. Receive and evaluate all appropriately referred psychiatric clients, and make appropriate recommendations regarding treatment and hospitalization according to established clinical protocol. Provide supportive counseling as necessary to consumer, family and/or significant others. Consult and make recommendations to the hospital Emergency Department Attending Physician on the appropriate disposition of psychiatric crises of TPC consumers.
