Emergency Services Nurse

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our **Emergency Services** at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, you will take a leadership role in our dynamic and highly challenging Emergency Services Department, which is located in a Level One Trauma Center. You'll assess patient/family health, develop comprehensive nursing care plans, and provide evidence-based direct care to acutely ill patients across the entire lifespan (neonates to geriatrics), handling everything from minor to life-threatening situations.

Every day you will prioritize and organize patient care, acting as a patient advocate, swiftly adapting to changing conditions, and utilizing SBAR for effective communication. You'll complete nurse-to-nurse reports, participate in quality improvement, delegate tasks, and involve patients/families in their care through therapeutic communication.
