Bristol City Council are seeking to recruit an Employment Navigator to work on a new project that will provide employability support to Asylum seekers living in initial accommodation hotels and in dispersed properties in the community in Bristol.



The aims of this role are to:

  • To produce CVs for asylum seekers and keep a central record of key skills and training needs

  • To support asylum seekers to develop their interview skills

  • To inform and demonstrate to asylum seekers how to search for employment in the UK

  • To attend pathway meetings every six weeks to share service updates, discuss hot topics and case reviews with Housing Pathway staff, ESOL providers and Information, Advice and Guidance staff.
