Endoscopy Technician - Contingent / Rochester

Supports endoscopic procedures by preparing the equipment, field and managing specimens. Responsibilities: Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.| Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.| Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.| Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
+ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Endoscopy experience
