Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for safely reprocessing endoscopy equipment for patient use according to the manufacturer instructions for use and in compliance with regulatory guidelines. They are also responsible for stocking, ordering, and maintaining adequate par levels of endoscopic supplies.
Responsibilities:
+ Performs pressure leak testing on endoscopes.
+ Meticulously cleans the endoscopes per manufacturers instructions for use toensure that all bioburden has been removed.
+ Visually inspects scopes for any damage and performs Adenosine Triphosphate Testing as appropriate.
+ Prepares scope for high level disinfection in scope washing machine.
+ Ensures all surfaces of scope have been thoroughly dried prior to being...
