Engagement Peer Specialist

Job Location: Columbus, OH 43215. The Engagement Peer Specialist aids and supports clients with addiction. This person functions as a peer support to clients and assists Outreach Staff in carrying out outreach and engagement activities and tasks in the community. The Peer Specialist is a person who has a unique perspective of addiction because of his/her own experience with the recovery processes that enables an understanding of client struggles with addiction and provides them with unique sensitivity to client issues. Key Responsibilities Use lived experience to offer emotional, social, and practical support to individuals facing similar challenges, fostering a sense of hope, empowerment, and motivation for recovery.
