Engine Field Service Technician - Apprentice

Under direct supervision, the individual contributor performs preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on engines and related components at the customer site. They adhere to established procedures and guidelines to develop field service knowledge and skills, while undergoing on-the-job training and classroom instruction focused on the Cummins-based technician curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; displays an attitude of professionalism.

Ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.

Assists in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic repair activities.

Learns Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follows documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance.
