Responsibilities Equipment Automation Development Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Equipment Automation Programs (EAP) for assembly and test manufacturing equipment Implement equipment integration using industry-standard protocols such as SECS/GEM Support equipment recipe download/upload, remote control, and process parameter management Factory Integration Integrate new production equipment into the factory automation ecosystem Collaborate with equipment vendors to develop and validate automation requirements Perform equipment buyoff, qualification, and factory acceptance testing Ensure seamless data exchange between equipment and manufacturing systems Production Support Provide 24/7 support (on-call when required) for equipment automation issues impacting production. Troubleshoot communication failures between equipment and host systems. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
