Engineer - Senior Principal Engineer (Gas System Supervision/ PSOD)

The Power System Operation Division (PSOD) ensures a reliable electricity supply by overseeing Singapore’s power system operations from the Power System Control Centre (PSCC). This role supports the monitoring and coordination of gas transmission system operations, including maintenance, performance analysis, and regulatory compliance. The officer also investigates system disturbances and contributes to studies to strengthen overall system resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and coordinate gas transmission system scheduled/ad‑hoc maintenance requests by Gas Licensees.
• Conduct review of contingency plans for restoration of gas supply in the event of gas emergences.
• Monitor and review the real‑time gas transmission system operation to ensure the reliability and security of the power and gas system and recommend changes if necessary.
