We’re looking for an Engineer, Substations to design, develop, and execute critical electrical infrastructure projects that safely and reliably power Calgary’s communities. This hybrid role combines work‑from‑home Mondays and Fridays with local on‑site collaboration, ensuring no overnight travel while delivering field experience. Responsibilities
Work with Estimation and Project Management to ensure accurate project estimates. Establish conceptual schedules, execution strategies, and design scopes of work. Apply all relevant engineering standards, codes, regulations, and public safety requirements in designs. Design, review, and approve indoor and outdoor substation drawings for construction and records, including AC/DC schematics, equipment/panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and plan/elevation drawings.
