Engineering Apprenticeship: Riverside Energy from Waste

A 4-year Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician apprenticeship based at Riverside Energy from Waste facilities in Belvedere, south‑east London. Riverside is undergoing a massive period of growth with Riverside 2 opening in 2026 alongside Riverside 1.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance or Operations workstreams, including Electrical, Mechanical, Controls & Instrumentation, or Operations.
• Work on projects across the Riverside facilities and gain exposure to Carbon Capture and Heat Network initiatives.

Salary and Benefits

The apprenticeship pays £20,000 in the first year, increasing each year as you become more skilled and qualified. Your manager will hold regular review meetings with you to ensure you’re on track.
