English Teacher - Maternity cover

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted English Teacher. This is a full-time job to start next academic year to provide maternity cover until May 2027. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

Delivering engaging and creative English lessons.

Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.

Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.

Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
