Entry Level - Healthcare Administrative Assistant

Job Description

+ Responsible for obtaining referrals from each patients’ primary care physician (PCP) office for all scheduled visits as well as verifying current insurance

+ Obtains referrals for office visits for all locations

+ Coordinate and schedule all incoming referrals

+ Routinely checks physicians’ schedules for any additional add-on appointments requiring referrals

+ Serves as a cardiology representative to referring physician offices, insurance carriers and patients

+ Ability to communicate with billing department Aegis as needed

+ Collaborate with the PSR department to ensure all referrals are facilitated

Qualifications

+ Min 1 year face to face customer service experine

+ Can come from a retail background

+ Perfect candidate looking to grow / start their career in the healthcare field

+ High School Diploma required
