Enviro Construction Engineer, AWS Data Center Health & Safety & Environment

Description
The Spanish Environmental Team seeks an experienced Regional Environmental Engineer to provide on-the-ground environmental oversight for data center construction projects across Spain. This individual will work closely with the EMEA Construction Program to develop and implement program requirements, conduct risk assessments, and ensure environmental compliance throughout the construction lifecycle from design through to PFHO (Power and Facilities Hand Off).

Key job responsibilities
- Construction Environmental Oversight
Provide on-site assessment and oversight of construction environmental risks for AWS data center projects in Spain. Complete Construction Environmental Risk Forms during pre-design to identify high-risk aspects. Conduct environmental inspections using standardized checklists at AWS permitted/owned sites during pre-PFHO construction.
