Opportunity Description
Atlantic Health is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) at Hackettstown Medical Center. Required hours are 6:00AM-2:00PM including rotating weekends. Starting rate $18.50/hr.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
+ Utilizes appropriate cleaning equipment in cleaning all nursing units, patients' rooms (including bathroom) and all other designated facility areas, including the floors, woodwork, sills, vents, sinks, furniture, public bathrooms, offices etc.
+ Checks EVS cart, ensuring proper chemical supplies are stocked with all bottles properly labeled and dated.
+ Makes sure that paper supplies are stocked sufficiently in all bathrooms.
+ Removes trash, bring soiled linens to soiled linen room, disperse clean linens to patient areas to clean linen storage rooms and areas.
+ Follows directions carefully for cleaning solution preparations and handling of bio-hazard materials.
