Environmental Health and Safety Manager

**Job Description:**

**GENERAL NATURE AND SCOPE**

Plans, directs, and implements environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance and to identify and resolve EHS deficiencies and/or issues. Performs the following duties personally or through supervisors or associates:

Plans and implements:

+ Health and Safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
+ Environmental programs and prepares/submits environmental reports in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
+ Programs to train managers, supervisors and associates in site safety practices, fire prevention, personal protective equipment, and various EHS policies and corporate programs.
