Opportunity Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The EHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring a workplace complies with all applicable EHS regulations by conducting audits, developing safety plans, training employees on proper procedures, and actively identifying and mitigating potential hazards to protect employee health and the environment, all while adhering to federal, state, and local laws. The incumbent will investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences, aiming to minimize workplace hazards to maintain a culture of safety within the organization and support the implementation of EHS programs.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivates a strong understanding of the day-to-day operating requirements of the assigned area, seeking opportunities to continually improve local EHS culture, customer safety & service, and operations efficiency.
