Environmental Scientist

Amentum’s Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Group is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Environmental Scientist (Geologist / Engineer) with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in delivering environmental solutions for both private and government sector clients, particularly on hazardous waste sites. Amentum employs advanced engineering and technology solutions to the most significant challenges to make the world safer, more secure, and cleaner by eliminating environmental hazards to create a secure and vibrant future.

Successful candidates must be willing and able to regularly travel to project sites to conduct field investigations, implement site remediation programs addressing soil, groundwater, and vapor issues, manage vendors and subcontractors, and collaborate with project stakeholders.
