EORLA Pathologists' Assistant Role

Become a vital part of the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association as a Pathologists' Assistant. This temporary position involves managing sample preparations and supports diagnostic testing processes.
EORLA is seeking a dedicated Pathologists' Assistant to work until May 14, 2027. Candidates should possess CCCPA certification and 6 to 12 months of experience in grossing complex cancer cases. You will take charge of patient sample management while ensuring accurate records and training support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage sample reception and preparation tasks
• Accession samples for diagnostic testing efficiently
• Analyze and interpret clinical pathology samples
• Train colleagues and identify unsuitable specimens

Requirements:
