Opportunity Description

Equipment Engineer required for a rapidly expanding wafer Fab. The role is to expedite fast and effective equipment repair using all the expertise available, analysing metrics in order to reduce future breakdowns and implementing /executing cost effective maintenance programs.
The role is a days/nights, (4 day on - 4 day off), rotating shift pattern, you will have an area of specialism assigned within the FAB supporting a particularly critical tool. The asset value in the FAB is currrently in excess of £35M.
Your Key responsibilities.
Effectively maintain and repair wafer processing equipment and diagnose the root cause of complex problems.
Document and implement cost effective maintenance programs by analysing, improving and inventing ‘key performance indicators’.
Effective spares stock control and housekeeping practices.
Make effective contributions to cross-functional improvement teams.
