Equipment Engineering Technician (Multiskilled)

Nexperia Manchester are now expanding our Equipment Engineering Team by hiring a Multiskilled Equipment Engineering Technician to join our 100‑strong on‑site team. If you have multiskilled experience in reactive or proactive repair this could be the opportunity for you to work towards becoming a specialist Semiconductor Equipment Engineer with funded training and development.

​What you will do

​As a Multiskilled Equipment Engineering Technician, you will be a key contributor to our manufacturing operations, carrying out routine maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and performing root‑cause analysis on complex, high‑tech wafer‑fab systems. Working a 7–7 shift pattern—two weeks of days followed by one week of nights. You’ll operate on 12‑hour shifts with four days off each week.
