Equipment Operator

Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Schenectady Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a front-end loader. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.

**Location:** Schenectady Transfer Station - 2 Weaver Street

**Pay Range:** $21-$23/hr., depending on experience | Weekly Pay

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | Start Time: 6:00 AM | 10+ Hour Days

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
+ Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
+ Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
