Equity and Inclusion Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and values-driven professional to join our Inclusion Team. The Equity and Inclusion Lead is a pivotal strategic role, working in partnership with schools, settings and multi-agency colleagues to promote and embed inclusive, equitable and high-quality educational practices across Monmouthshire. You will play a central role in shaping a coherent, consistent and preventative approach to understanding and managing behaviour, promoting wellbeing and inclusion, to ensure that all children and young people—particularly the most vulnerable—can access and succeed in education within their local community. This is a unique opportunity to lead system-wide improvement, working closely with schools and partners to reduce exclusion, strengthen inclusive practice, and build capacity across the education system.
