ERT Operative Level 1

About The Role

Balfour Beatty currently has an opportunity for a Highways Emergency Response Team (ERT) Level 0 to be part of the team that manages and improves one of the busiest motorways in Europe – the M25, based in Swanley, Kent.

The role involves assisting in the efficient service delivery of the M25 DBFO Network by undertaking incident response, hazard clearance, network maintenance and other tasks as required by the Line Manager.

Working Arrangements

• Expected to work on a 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern, rotating equally between 4 day shifts and 4 night shifts.
• Day shifts are 05:00 to 17:00 including 2 x 30 minute breaks; night shifts are 17:00 to 05:00 including 2 x 30 minute breaks.
• Reasonable level of travel around the M25 network and between depots.
• Travel to meetings, training and works sites outside the normal operational area.
