Estates Assistant

All Points Law is a well-established, general-practice law firm in beautiful Qualicum Beach. Our current team consists of two lawyers, eight support-staff and one articling student. Our focus is on real estate, wills & estates, civil litigation, corporate law and family law. We are looking for a friendly, well-organized individual to join our cohesive team.

Specific job tasks will include:

Drafting various documents, including retainer letters, letters to banks, probate notices, probate applications, consents and releases, and estate accounts; Performing Wills searches and gathering estate-related information from clients; Monitoring deadlines and setting-up reminder systems; Greeting clients and walk-ins in a professional and friendly manner; Answering and directing incoming phone calls; Calling and speaking to clients in a professional manner; Scheduling and confirming appointments; Corresponding by email in an professional manner; Performing data entry and basic ad...
