Estimating Engineer (Mechanical, Sanitary, Plumbing & Fire Pro)

Job Summary

The Estimating Mechanical Engineer with knowledge and background as quantity surveyor/estimator for HVAC, FIRE PRO and PLUMBING trades. The position is responsible for preparation of estimates (take-offs and unit cost), evaluation of tender documents, review of plans, evaluation of quotation and coordination with estimating team, operations and procurement.

Duties And Responsibilities

• To prepare competitive estimates and costing for Mechanical (HVAC and Fire Protection) and Plumbing/Sanitary trades for all types of structures.
• Determine procurement strategy & methodology
• Derive material and labor unit costs
• Prepare tender qualification
• Collate estimates from other estimator
• Prepare other necessary bid documents
• Prepare indicative design and estimates using parametric/elemental costs for design and build projects
